We had a bit of downtime since last week, but considering most of the services are down as well I dont feel so bad :), nevertheless we are going back up with a lot of changes it seems. The big thing in this update is the new section for the "Web Flows"
To access the WebFlow section follow the link http://helio.i4ds.technik.fhnw.ch:8080/Helio-dev/blog At the moment the only actions that can be taken are dragging something from the toolbar on the left and dropping it off on the main workspace, this will create a trail on the top representing a history or timeline of what you have done.
- Major Changes
- I am still experimenting with the user id, so for the moment ignore the box in the frontpage that claims to be a signup, it is working as intended but is not very useful for the user at the moment
- Lots of learning went into jquery this and last week so finally we have the first iteration. Its rather rough at this point, mostly because of the nightmare that css can be, I need to dedicate some more time into studiying the best ways to do layouts since ours is getting bit complex.
- At the moment this is a proof of concept where we can select items from the toolbar and drop them into our work area, this will cause the history to start tracking the user actions.
- Next Step
- Single Services
- Had some discussions with andre and it seems that the single services will be more of a permanent feature so I expect changes to go here during this week.
- Second Iteration
- Clean up the css, add the forms to the drag and drop, add some flash to the fonts and colors.
